September 11th- GA Chapter D Gathering being held at Chapter Q’s 20th Anniversary and Dessert Auction at the Aviation Museum in Warner Robbins. Meet at Golden Corral with tanks full and bladders empty at 8am for an early breakfast before the ride South. Kick stand up at 8:30am.
September 16-18 Region A Rally in Eufaula, AL – come support our own Phillip & Terri Kozlowski as they participate in the Couple of the Year selection and have FUN at the American Homecoming! A group is leaving on Thursday morning to ride over together. We are meeting at the Starbucks (eastside) off of exit 13 of 400 across from the Avenue with tanks full and bladders empty with kick stand up at 9am.
September 23-25th – Wings Over the Smokies (NC District Rally) in Fletcher. Several of us are planning to attend ...join us for all the FUN! A group of us is heading up Friday afternoon and will be meeting at the Shell Station (30733 Hwy 441S) in Commerce off of I-85 with tanks full and bladders empty for kickstand up at 1:30pm.
October 2nd- GA-E2 October Fun Fest at Sangrena Woods in Pooler GA for games, fun and drawings.
October 9th- GA Chapter D monthly gathering at Golden Corral eat at 8am so we can ride over to the GA-L Fun Day in Rome with a mini health fair, games, drawings, on bike events and where all proceeds go to Breast Cancer Research. Kick stand up at 8:30am.
October 14-16th- Mississippi District Rally in Tupelo...join us as we celebrate out Heroes! A group of us is heading up Friday afternoon and will be meeting at the Racetrac (9294 Highway 5) in Douglasville off of I-20 at 12:30pm for a scenic ride to Tupelo.
October 21st- Dinner Ride— to the Cork Screw Caf (51 w Main St) in Dahlonega meet there at 6:30pm.
October 23rd—Chapter A Poker Run in McDonough; $20 a poker hand and a great ride through Henry, Butts, Jasper, and Newton Counties. Drawings and prizes where a portion of the proceeds got to benefit Herobox.org on support of our troops overseas. We will meet at the Starbucks (eastside) off of exit 13 of 400 across from the Avenue with tanks full and bladders empty with kick stand up at 8:30am.
October 30-31—Horizon’s Class at the Heritage Bank in Fayetteville. This two day training program is open to all GWRRA members who want to learn more about this great organization and how it works at all its different levels. If you are interested in attending this fantastic program please speak to Terri as she and Phillip will be teaching a seminar or two in Fayetteville so you know you will have a lot of fun if you attend this event. Join us for some GWRRA knowledge!
November 6th- Chapter D hosting a Two Wheeled Parking Lot Practice (PLP) at the Kilough Church by the Lake ( 321 Kilough Church Rd ) in Dawsonville. Class will begin at 10am sharp. Practice your slow riding skills and advance to the next level in the Rider Ed Level’s Program!
November 13th- GA Chapter D monthly gathering at the Golden Corral in Cumming. We eat at 10am and meet at 11am.
November 18th- Dinner Ride— to the Ridge (1035 Turner Rd) in Cumming meet there at 6:30pm.
November 20th—Chapter D hosting Medic First Aid Training at the Steven’s home (5955 Sarah Orr Lane) in Cumming. Class starts at 10am sharp. Advance to the next level in the Rider Ed Level’s Program!
